Junior Presentation Evening 2017

Our annual Junior Presentation Evening, for students in Years 7-10, was a fantastic celebratory event for all involved. The Sports Hall was full of proud parents, satisfied staff and excited students, ready to collect subject prizes for excellence and progress, 100% attendance and a number of special awards.

David Bagley, who founded the Urban Outreach charity, spoke movingly of the need for each of us to think of others and help those who are less fortunate. The five recipients of this year’s Student Ambassador Awards received resounding applause and greatly deserved the positive citations received. There were additional awards for school teams, town and national competition success and, finally, to our retiring Head Boys and Girls for their excellent service to the school.

The audience was entertained by two musical numbers from the summer show, ‘Disco Inferno,’ which, in a very warm room, took some of us back to the long, hot summers of our childhoods with some cracking tunes! Many congratulations to all our award winners.
