This week' Headteacher Highlight is a shout out to all of our school support staff. These guys are an integral part of our staff team. Today is the day each year that we recognise these stars in our school - in so many departments. Our school literally would not run without them. A big thank you for all the boxes of mince pies and chocolate oranges generously donated by students, parents and staff this week! Santa's Workshop has been very busy and the hot Vimto has been flowing. The last day for donating mince pies to Urban Outreach is **Tuesday 3rd December** and we are about 100 boxes short of our pledge right now, so if anyone still wants to donate, please bring your mince pies to school this Monday! This morning we held a really successful Coffee Morning for Parents of Y7, this involved our Mental Health Support Team coming in to deliver a presentation around what they can offer parents & students during their time with us. It was also a really good opportunity to discuss in an open forum some of the challenges students face with regards to mental health.
